Outreach
NRLH Outreach Program
New Rochelle is a rich and diverse city. Most residents find this diversity appealing, enabling their children to learn and interact with children of varied cultures and backgrounds and be part of a global society. Youth athletic programs are an important part of this learning process. As such, NRLH is committed to encouraging children throughout New Rochelle to participate in our program. Since hockey is a relatively expensive sport to play given the cost of equipment, NRLH is dedicated to providing children with free or low cost opportunities to enjoy the joy of playing hockey.
Full Scholarship Outreach Program
Thanks to generous grants and donations NRLH is able to provide scholarships for our program. Scholarship recipients may receive:
- Free or reduced tuition to our program
- Full equipment (equipment is the property of NRLH and must be returned at the end of the season)
- Jersey and other apparel provided as part of the program to all participants
If you have a child interested in hockey and would like consideration for one of our scholarships, please contact us at info@nryh.org.
Equipment Scholarship Program
Donor generosity enables us to provide full equipment to participants. Participants are responsible for the program fee and are required to return the equipment to NRLH at the end of the season. If you would like to obtain an equipment scholarship, please contact us at at info@nryh.org.
