NEW ROCHELLE LIGHTNING HOCKEY CONTINUES TO GROW!

New Rochelle Lightning Hockey has entered one Squirt, two Peewee, and one Bantam teams into the Hudson Valley Hockey League (HVHL) for the 2015-16 season.  Mite teams will be evaluated at a NYSAHA sponsored jamboree in September and will then be placed into the most competitively appropriate divisions.  

Bantam - For players born in 2001 and 2002, the New Rochelle Lightning Bantam team will be skating approximately 4 times per week. Most weeks will include games on Saturday and Sunday with practice two weeknights. This team is enrolled in the HVHL Bantam A division.

PeeWee - For players born in 2003 and 2004, the New Rochelle Lightning PeeWee teams will be skating approximately 4 times per week. Most weeks will include games on Saturday and Sunday with practice two weeknights. We have both a Peewee A team and a Peewee B team enrolled in HVHL.

Squirts - For players born in 2005 and 2006, the New Rochelle Lightning Squirt team will be skating approximately 4 times per week. Most weeks will include games on Saturday and Sunday with practice two weeknights. This team is competing in the HVHL Squirt A1 division.

Mites - For players born in 2007 or later, the New Rochelle Lightning Mite teams will be skating approximately 3 times per week. Most weeks will include a game on either Saturday or Sunday with practice on the other weekend day and one weeknight. 

Intro to Hockey/Learn to Skate - Open to all children ages 4 to 10, this program meets Sunday mornings to give children a comfortable environment to fall in love with the game! When possible, additional ice time may be offered. The children will be divided on the ice both by skill level and age.
